Trying to get our hands on Webb Ellis
Back in 1987 Kiwi's watched proudly as David Kirk, the All Blacks skipper held the Webb Ellis Cup aloft, the All Blacks had won the first Rugby World Cup competition.
Its been 24 years since then and every four years Kiwi rugby supporters have watched as other countries skippers have held "our" cup aloft, and to make matters worse the Wallabies and Springboks have both won it twice, with England the other winner to date.
A couple of rogues at NewsTalk ZB radio have come up with a humorous song bemoaning the All Blacks recent lack of success in the Rugby World Cup. Click on the picture below or this link http://www.newstalkzb.co.nz/podcasts/audio/01113036.mp3 to listen.
Welcome to every one from every nation visiting for the Rugby World Cup.
We trust our fellow Kiwis show you a wonderful time and that you enjoy your visit all the way through to when Richie McCaw hands the Web Ellis Cup to Dan Carter!
Go the All Blacks!
