First Mortgage Trust Investment return – 8.09% gross per annum.

Investor funds in First Mortgage Trust recently passed $300 million. The strong growth reflects the integrity of the fund and its consistent performance over many years. Investors have the comfort of knowing their funds are invested in only first ranking registered securities. The loans, over land and buildings only, are advanced on relatively conservative loan to value ratios (LVR’s).

 

An added bonus by way of the growth of investor support is the ability to provide a greater spread of securities both by loan type and geographic location. While all funds are invested in New Zealand, 47% are commercial, 32% residential and 21% rural (as at November 2006).

First Mortgage Trust provided an investor return of 8.09% per annum, gross of tax for the quarter ended November 2006. An added advantage provided by First Mortgage Trust is their well managed liquidity that has enabled all investor withdrawals to be paid promptly, even though most investors are there for the long term and should consider the investment in terms of one, two or three years.
