Over the last few months I've received many emails likethe one below. Generally they automatically go into my spam folder and I never see them. But I decided to check the latest one out.

Wealth & Finance International want to give us an award in a category for which we don't qualify, in a country we don't do business in, if we pay for it!

I wont be taking up their offer. Because it is, um ... er ... there isn't really a polite word to describe it so let just call it rubbish.

I decided to take a look at the "award winners" on their website. And it appears people actually fall for this sort of thing. Simply astonishes me. The mere fact that a company employed someone stupid enough to fall for this would eliminate them from my list of propective advisers.

Here's the latest email I've received...
